CODE OF CONDUCT

Tailgunners members are meant to be ambassadors for hockey both for the team and general public and should conduct themselves according to the Bylaws of The Tailgunners.

1. Conduct yourself with decorum and politeness at all Tailgunners and Aeros functions.

2. No unwarranted contact between players or other Houston Aeros employees and Tailgunners members. Unwarranted contact shall include, but not be limited to:
Unauthorized and/or inappropriate contact with players, players’ families, or significant others unless sanctioned by the player;
abusive emails, faxes, and internet abuse; and
unauthorized possession, distribution, or use of private phone numbers, home addresses or private email addresses.

3. No stalking as defined by State statute.
4. Provide Aeros staff the appropriate respect.  Do not abuse them or put them in inappropriate situations with respect to their jobs.
5. Members must notify the appropriate person at least twelve (12) hours in advance if unable to participate as assigned at an event or function.

Complaints of member behavior should be reported to any Officer or Director of the Tailgunners.  Complaints will be investigated as defined in the Booster Club Bylaws. Cause for complaints include, but are not limited to:
1.violations of Tailgunners Bylaws;
2.violation of any rule or practice duly adopted by the membership;
3.or conduct likely to endanger the welfare, interests, or character of the Tailgunners or Houston Aeros employees.

Action taken concerning complaints may include, but not be limited to:
1.Written warning to member;
2.Suspension of membership; or
3.Dismissal from Booster Club.
