The Executive Board members present were Melanie, Joel Konkel, Ivan Kusjanovic, Tom Huber, Christiane Pitts, Sharilyn Prideaux, Barbara Pride and Fred Trask. Also in attendance were Patrick and Dale Humphrey, Erika Kusjanovic, and Basil Reyna.

  A quorum being present, the meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM.

  The minutes of the special By-Laws committee meeting on July 28, 2005 were approved after a motion by Tom to amend the minutes with the corrections detailed at this meeting. After discussion, Tom made a motion to amend the previous motion to include that the Executive Board minutes include the attendees retroactive to the first Executive Board meeting of this year. Both motions passed. The minutes of the Executive Board meeting on August 23, 2005 and the Executive Board meeting on September 8, 2005 were approved after a motion by Tom to amend the minutes with the corrections detailed at this meeting.

  The treasurer's report showed a balance on hand as of October 4, 2005 of $ 6,935.27. The report was approved and filed for audit.

  Under Unfinished Business, Ivan stated that he had still not received the laminating machine and membership packet supplies from last year's Membership Chair Jane Woodring. He said he would try to get it by the end of the week. Melanie informed the Board that the Houston Aeros mailed the Booster Club introductory letters and membership applications to their season ticket holders. Melanie updated the Board on the Dasher Board - it will be 30" wide by 144" long. A motion was made by Christiane to accept the Advanced Creative Advertising bid for the Port Authority shirt for an initial order of shirts for Booster Club members. Barbara will get demos for the Board to see.

  Under New Business, Fred will check into getting a counter for the web site. Charities Chair Erika stated that we will accept tickets from members to donate to the Houston Aeros Deaf Night event. Erika was asked to get information from the Sheraton Brookhollow on the price to rent the ballroom, the available menu, and the date availability for the Booster Club Banquet. The next membership meeting will be held on Monday, October 24, 2005. Coach Rob Daum will be the speaker. Fred stated that there will be an announcement about the membership meeting made at the next Aeros' home game. The next Executive Board meeting will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Tia Maria. The 3rd membership meeting is tentatively scheduled for November 22, 2005 at SRO Sports Bar and Grill.
