Business

A few items were discussed:  The banquet for the booster club will be held on March 28th.  The club will be holding a garage sale for charity on Saturday, November 6th, and charities will begin collecting for the Feb. 8th Tickets For Kids game at each game and meeting.  We are also planning a trip to Beaumont on October 30th to cheer on the Louisiana Ice Gators (details can be found on our website at www.aerosboosterclub.com).  We are starting to renew memberships and looking for new members.  This year the membership pucks have been replaced with membership pins.

New Business

The floor was then turned over to Tom Garrity and Mike Krompf.

They discussed the challenges of acquiring a radio contract and as yet have not been able to secure one. This is still being worked on and if we have any ideas we are encouraged to pass them on. They have made arrangements for a web cast and it can be found in Real Audio on Aeros.com

We went over the details of the new programs from the Aeros: Guaranteed Premiums, Loyalty Program, the Fan Club and the Fan Forum.

We asked if the parking garage could be opened early for the Bus II “Aeros and Astros in October Party” event on Saturday and were told they would try to do that for us.

The Ticket Manager program was discussed

They were asked about roster size and dress requirement and we were told the following: the Aeros can have 25 players on their roster with 5 being veterans.  But only 19 can dress per game, 17 players and 2 goalies.

They also let us know that when we call, write or email them about concerns or praise that it is very much appreciated.
