Helen explained how the voting would take place, how the Directors terms would work; who would get the two year terms and who would get the one year terms, and how to proxy vote for other family members. The ballots were then passed out and the count was then taken by Helen Brown and David Mauger.

  Melanie asked each member present what they thought about the club from prior years; what they liked and disliked. The following responses were given:

  John Peper - liked the bowling and Feed The Team. He said that they enjoy the activities so they can socialize with other hockey fans.

  Patrick & Dale Humphrey - said they liked the bowling, race track, and road trips.

  Tom Huber - said that he would like to see the Banquet change to a picnic and to see us do more for Kids Unlimited. He stated that he liked the race track and bowling. He also said that most people like the player's appearances.

  Barbara Pride - said that she liked the activities and she wanted to keep the Hockey 101 at the table as it attracted people.

  Margaret Martin - said she liked the activities and charities; she would like to see more of both.

  Kristen Bennington - said she liked the bus trips.

  Renae Rives - said that she liked the activities. She also suggested have a drawing of an autographed item as an incentive for people to join the Booster Club. She also said she liked the announcement of Booster Club activities at the games. Melanie stated that we can make announcements for free at the games but are not allowed to state where, as that would be considered free advertising for that establishment. We are only allowed to state what, and for more info to go to the Booster Club table.

  David then made a treasurer report and stated that the club now has $5,923.94 in the account. He stated that we are $174.77 up from last year.

  The winners of the election were then announced and are as follows:
 President: Margaret Martin;    Vice-President: Tom Huber;   Past President: Melanie Ogren   Secretary: Kristi Parrott;   Treasurer: Barbara Pride; 
 Directors: Ivan Kusjanovic (1 year left in term), Patrick Humphrey (2 years), Renae Rives (2 years), Joy Lister (1 year), John Shaw (1 year)

   Helen Brown then asked if she could remain in charge of the Feed The Team and everyone was in agreement on this. She also asked if anyone had any hot trays that could be used for this purpose.

   Tom Huber then thanked Helen, David, and Melanie for their work on the board and their participation in Club activities.

   The meeting was then adjourned at 7:30 PM.
