A general meeting of the Houston Hockey Booster Club, Inc. was held on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at SRO Sports Bar in Houston, Texas. President Margaret Martin presided over the meeting. Executive board members present were Ivan Kusjanovic, Joy Lister, Renae Rives, and Patrick Humphrey. Also in attendance were Helen Brown, Josh Lister, Julie Caulter, Dana Ross, Kelli Stohs, Tom Williams, and Erika Kusjanovic. The guest speaker was Ojinga Green, Director of Marketing for The Houston Aeros. The meeting was called to order at 7:15 pm.

 Margaret welcomed everyone and thanked them for coming to the meeting.

 Margaret then announced to the membership the list of Committee Chairs. Erika made a motion to accept the named Chairs, Ivan seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously. Margaret then asked if anyone themselves or someone they knew would be interested in being Newsletter Editor. Margaret asked that if anyone had any ideas such as activities or charities, to please email the Committee Chair.

 The following items were announced: 1. Bus trip to S.A. on 11/29, if interested we need to receive payment by Sunday's game on 11/2. 2. Feed The Team is this Saturday, 11/1, and anyone interested can sign up at the game on Friday or email Helen, items need to be there by 1:30 pm. 3. Banquet Date has been set for Tuesday, January 20, 2009.

 The floor was then turned over to OJ and the following are some of the highlights:
1. Puck Pals is free this year to kids 12 and under. You can register online at the Aeros website, under Fun Zone or at a game at the customer service table.
2. OJ also discussed the hockey program HITS. When asked if this was something the Booster Club could help with, he said absolutely. He will send Margaret the information.
3. OJ also told us about the team he and Gabe (ex-Chilly) play on. Erika stated she thought this would be a good activity for the Booster Club. OJ will also email his teams schedule to Margaret.

The meeting was then adjourned at 8:20 pm.
